Custom Class Fenwick American made Classic Topwater Casting Rod:
The story of a cherished American pastime is incomplete without the introduction of Fenwick's adorned Spin Cast (SC) Model 622. An almost forgotten style of Topwater casting with fiberglass blanks offering slow taper with parabolic action.
These yellow blanks shared a history with many from the 1960's through the 1970's that saw blanks in both traditional yellow along with the newer brown blanks that were named 1060.
Many of these blanks are still being fished today in original condition or have been re-worked by handcrafters into replica customs.
Here is one of my prized completed rods in fine condition. This specimen is at its original length of 6 foot.
